35 Weeks & Babymoon!
How far along: 35 weeks!
Size of the baby: 5 1/4 lbs. (weight of a honeydew) and 18 inches long. Most of his basic physical development is complete and he will spend the next few weeks putting on weight! - Baby Center
Movement: He seems to be awake and moving more and more each day! I am going to miss this the most once he arrives!
Cravings: Ice cream! I am finding that I don't have very much room for food.
Sleep: Still sleeping through the night!
Sleep: Still sleeping through the night!
Symtoms: Crazy heartburn (I heart berry flavored Tums)!
Doctor's Appointment on 8/23: I am measuring 2 weeks ahead but the doctor thinks that I will be 4-5 days late since this is our first baby. His heartbeat was at 145!
Most anxious moment of the week: After waiting the initial 4-6 weeks for our baby furniture and then an extra 6 weeks we finally decided to ask for our money back so that we could look at other options! Yikes!
Best moment of the week: My baby showers!! Celebrating our last Anniversary as a family of 2 (4 including the pups) and spending the weekend in Vail, Colorado for our "babymoon!"
What I'm looking forward to: My birthday, a long weekend and finding new furniture!

Lindsey

Showered with Love!
On August 17th, my mom's friends Kathy Albrecht and Debbie Lieurance threw me a wonderful baby shower! The food, decorations and cake balls were perfect and it was fun to see everyone! The little guy and I felt so loved!
Hostesses and the soon-to-be Grandma's!
Cake balls on a stick...yummy!
The following Saturday (8/21) Kara, Abbey, Sally, Leah and Erin (& Hannah, Hannah and Monica) gave me a baby shower in KC! It was sooo much fun!!
Hostesses with the Mostesses... BFF's...
Auntie Kara and Gramma!
Foxy Nana & Gramma!Kara's gorgeous friends who helped with the shower (Monica & Hannah)!
The handmade blanket my bff Katrina made...I think she "whip-stitched it!" Love it!
Thank you to all of my friends and family for your love and support! Ryan and I couldn't do it without you!
XOXO,
Lindsey

31 Weeks!
How far along: 31 weeks...9 weeks to go (I can't believe we are in the single digits)!
Size of the baby: He is over 16 inches long and weighs about 3.3 lbs (4 oranges) and he is heading into a growth spurt! He can turn his head from side to side and his arms, legs and body are beginning to plump out. -Baby Center
Best moment of the week (or most overwhelming moment): Our baby classes on Saturday! It made everything so real...very exciting but at the same time very overwhelming. Maybe it was all of the nipples in the videos for the breastfeeding class...haha!
Movement: I thought he used to move around a lot but I had no idea what was to come...he is so active all day and night!
Food Cravings: It's too hot to eat anything but ice cream!
Sleep: Still sleeping well. YAY!
Symptoms: Who isn't hot!?!
What I'm looking forward to: Our birthing class this Saturday and seeing friends in the next couple of weeks! Oh and hopefully our furniture comes in too!
xoxo,
Lindsey
PS - Summer camp ended last Friday at the Boys & Girls Club...I can't believe how fast summer has flown by! Here is a pic of the kids loving on the little guy. They loved to ask questions and rub my belly! I had a couple more name recommendations - Buddy, Garfield and Xander (and the x is pronounced like a z...she was very specific in the spelling)!

30 Weeks!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 30 weeks...only 10 to go!
Size of the baby: 15.7 inches long and about 3lbs (like a head of cabbage) - Baby Center. I went to the doctor yesterday and I am measuring at 31 weeks...he is either going to come early or be a big baby!
Best Moment of the Week: Seeing family at my cousin's wedding!
Doctor's Appointment: Short and sweet! His heart rate was in the 130-140s.
Movement: He is definitely getting stronger and more active! I can tell when he moves from one side of my belly to the other...it is so cool!
Food Cravings: Still sweets! It is amazing how fast I get full b/c I am losing stomach space.
Sleep: Thankfully, I am sleeping great!
Symptoms: No complaints here!
What I'm looking forward to: Our baby classes this weekend and the nursery furniture coming in!
xoxo,
Lindsey
PS - The pups wanted to say hi!

28 Weeks & Dr. Appt.!
26 Week Pic (6.29.10)!
"Whoa...you're huge" - my beloved sister, Kara
28 Weeks and in our little guy's freshly painted nursery (side note: last time for that dress...a little short in the front...oops)!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 28 weeks...7 months! 3rd Trimester!
Size of the baby: The little fella weighs 2 1/4 lbs (like a Chinese cabbage...what?) and he is 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels! - Baby Center
Weight gain: 20 lbs...yikes only 2 lbs is baby!
Best moments of the past couple of weeks: Registering (maybe not the best moment but definitely notable...Ryan and I are clueless), Colin & Ryan painting the nursery, reading to the little guy, Ryan talking to him at night, shopping for him and hearing his hearbeat at the doctors appointment!!
Doctor's Appointment Update: It went great! I had to drink a glucose drink and then get blood drawn to test to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes...they said no news is good news. Ryan mentioned that I was having some lower back pain (thank goodness he was there b/c I would have forgotten) so today they had me see a physical therapist and it was amazing! She said that my pregnancy hormones are making my ligaments loose and in turn my back was out of alignment...so she realigned me, massaged me while I was face down in the most amazing pillow ever, gave me stretches and sent me on my way with a sciatic nerve/back support belt thing. I just chalked the pain up to being pregnant and was going to let it go but I am so glad I went and I feel so much better now...and I can keep working out!
Movement: All the time and AMAZING! I am starting to see it from the outside too! Feeling him move is my most favorite part about being pregnant!
Food Cravings: Sweets!!
Sleep: Still sleeping great. I had a dream that I was the bachelorette last week...it was pretty funny!
Symptoms: Feeling good now that my back is fixed!
What I am looking forward to: The nursery furniture coming in and hopefully picking out a name sometime soon!
xoxo,
Lindsey
