Happy Father's Day!!
Happy 1st Father's Day, Ryan! It has been so much fun watching you become such a wonderful dad to Greyson! You have been so hands on from the first diaper change in the hospital to constantly making him laugh! Greyson has a special sparkle in his eye for you that I see whenever you walk in the door! I think I fell in love with you all over again the second you held Greyson! He is one lucky little boy to have you for his dad!
The boys!Happy Father's day to my dad too! You are the best dad a girl could ask for!!! The lectures before school, the layups in the driveway in the dark, the no talking on the phone to boys, the no dating til 16, the phone calls in college talking me out of changing my major again have shaped who I am today...even though I thought you were sometimes mean and outrageous I totally get it now and thank you so much for loving me!!

Dinner w/ the Alexanders!
The Alexander's move date to the UK was pushed back a couple of weeks so we were able to squeeze in a dinner before they left! Here are some pics of the boys...so cute!!

Little pistol
Greyson and I met Ryan for lunch so that we could pick up G's new car seats and then we went to Panera. This little guy was all over the place!! The puffs didn't even work! I'm surprised I had a second to take this picture but so glad I did! Its funny to look back at the times where things just don't go as planned!xoxo,

While daddy is away...
...we will play!! Ryan went out of town for a bachelor party the second weekend of June so Greyson and I tried to keep ourselves busy. We went to the River Festival on Saturday with papa and nana. It was pretty hot so we tried some Dippin Dots for the first time!

Happy 8 months, Greyson!
Wow! I can't believe you are 8 months old!! You just keep getting more and more fun everyday! Your little personality is hysterical and your cheeks are so kissable!!
-You are probably about 20lbs and you still wear size 3 diapers.
-You wear 9-12 month clothes and 12 month pj's.
-You have some oatmeal/fruit in the morning, veggie/fruit at lunch and veggie/fruit/protein at dinner. I tried making the meat for dinners and it was disgusting to puree so we just buy the jar for dinner time.
-You started drinking water out of sippy cups and really like it and you love Puffs! We love them too b/c they keep you busy for awhile especially at restaurants!!
-You still don't have any teeth! We love your gummy grin!
-You take about 3 naps a day!
-You are super healthy and have not yet been sick. We definitely credit the grandma's and great grandma for keeping you during the week...we are so grateful!
-You definitely know mommy, daddy and some family members and recognize when we walk in the room. You get so excited when daddy gets home from work...you kick and squeal!!
-You talk/babble all of the time! You love to say dadda and you said mama first but haven't really said it since.
-You still LOVE peek-a-boo and patty cake.
-We will do just about anything to get you to belly laugh!
-Your new trick is when I sit you in your crib you pull up to the side! You love standing up to the couch, tables, etc.

June!!
The first week of June I went to Dallas for the B&GC Regional Youth of the Year competition with our very own Kansas Youth of the Year winner, Kiana! She did awesome and won quite a bit of scholarship money. Here she is right before her speech...I was so proud of her!
