I am so blessed b/c I get to spend Tuesdays and Fridays with Greyson. Here are some pics from a Tuesday in March that I had my camera out and ready!

Sweet Potatoes!

On March 21st we decided that Greyson was more than ready for some real food (and we were finally ready) so we decided to give him sweet potatoes! He really liked them!

Big 12 Tourney!

I think Ryan's proudest moment so far as a dad is taking Greyson to his first KU basketball game (3.11.11)!! I think he told everyone that it was his first game as we were walking into the Sprint Center!

Thank goodness the game wasn't very close b/c we were busy keeping up with G!

I was pretty worried about the noise so before we left Wichita I shopped around for earphones (I had pictured in my head the ones that Drew Brees' son wore at the Super Bowl) and finally found some at Gander Mountain and also at the last minute I picked up some earplugs that form to the ear. Thank goodness I did b/c the earphones were too bulky and the plugs worked like a charm!!

Saturday, we headed to the Plaza to hang out with Kara, Jacob, Leah and Iz...we had a great time just hanging out and enjoying the awesome weather!! G is trying to hold Isabelle's hand and she was playing hard to get :)! (thanks for the pics Leah!!)

TROUBLE!

Greyson is now at the age where if I turn around for one second he is into something...luckily I caught him before anything went into his mouth!!

Who can be upset with that smile??

Happy 5 months, Greyson!

Here is what Greyson has been doing this month!

-You are wearing 3-6 month clothing and quite a bit of 6 month too.

-You are wearing a size 2 diaper.

-We are not sure how much you weigh. I kept meaning to weigh you and I on the scale but never got that done. My guess would be about 18 lbs since you were 16 lbs at 4 months and have been gaining about 2 per month.

-You are sleeping about 10-11 hours a night (8pm - 7am...give or take) and you still sometimes wake up for your pacifier. We are soooo lucky that you are such a great sleeper!

-We stopped swaddling you this past month...you got too strong and would just shimmy your arms right out!
-You like to sleep with your hands by your head or one arm over your eyes.

-You are still drinking breastmilk and a little bit of formula. You eat every 3 hours during the day and sleep all night. You take 6 ounces in a bottle. We started cereal yesterday and you really liked it!

-You love to play with your pacifier and can put it in your mouth by yourself.

-You still LOVE your jumperoo...you go crazy in that thing! You like your baby einstein mat too!

-You rolled over both ways this past month.
-You are still drooling like crazy, but have no teeth yet.

-You are really interested in grabbing whatever we have in our hands or anything within reach and then putting it directly into your mouth!!
-You can sit pretty well for a few seconds before you fall over.

-You love your feet! You love to put them in your mouth and hold them when you're laying on your back!

-You have the sweetest laugh! Everyday your daddy and I are trying to come up with something new to make you laugh! You always love peek-a-boo...normally we can get you to belly laugh playing that game!

-You have started grabbing my face this month and trying to pull me towards you. I love it!
-You are still so chatty and sometimes you mimmick our voice tones!

-Your little personality is so sweet and bashful but sometimes onery too!

I can’t believe how blessed we are to have you! We love you very, very much!!!!!

Cereal!!!

On the eve of Greyson's 5 month b-day we decided to give him some cereal! He did great!! Our Dr. said we could start at 4 months but we knew February would be crazy so we decided to wait a little bit.

I know, I know I should have had a bib on him but I knew we would be giving him a bath after so I wasn't concerned with him getting messy :)!
