Beautiful day in January!

A year ago today...

...we found out we were pregnant! It is just crazy to me that this time last year we found out and now we have an almost 4 month old little boy! Life has changed so much...in the best way possible!

I don't know if the pups agree that life has changed for the best! They do love their brother though!

Greyson meets his Great-Nana and gets his first haircut!

On Friday, January 21st our little family headed to KC to visit some friends and family! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures from our night at the Nielsen's or from wedding dress shopping with my dearest friend, Abbey or from our fun stay with Auntie Kara :(!

I did capture some great shots of Greyson with my Nana (my dad's mom), my Aunt Sheryl (dad's sister) and my cousin Mallory! We missed you Uncle Randy, Brooke and Chad!

KU fun w/ friends!

We had our friends over to watch the KU vs. Nebraska bball game on Jan. 15th!

Terra and her precious little girl, Fiona. Fiona was born November 2nd!

Bedtime!

I just wanted to share a couple of pictures from our bedtime routine!

He loves bathtime! He is getting too big for the kitchen sink but its so much easier.

Next we normally read a book but I didn't get a picture this night.

Swaddled and ready for bed! We usually play baby einstein or rockabye baby U2 lullabies on his ihome and he falls asleep.

We were finally able to celebrate Christmas with Ryan's dad, Brenda and his brothers! It was a fun afternoon before the boys had to go back to school.

Happy 3 month birthday, Greyson!

(I made some notes from Greyson's third month so I wouldn't forget the little things! So, feel free to just look at the pictures on this post b/c it might be a little boring!)

Greyson, here is what you were up to in your third month!

-You are wearing 3 month and some 3-6 month clothing.
-You are wearing a size 1 or 1-2 diaper.
-I don't know exactly how much you weigh but I bet it's around 14-15lbs. I am excited for your 4 month appointment to find out (not for the shots though)!

-You are eating about 4-6 oz. every 3 hours during the day. Right before Christmas you started eating 5-6 oz. since you dropped a feeding at night.
-You are still sleeping really well in your crib.
-You are sleeping 9 hours a night (10pm - 7am). You dropped your 4am feeding right before Christmas...it was a Christmas miracle!! Your daddy and I can't think you enough for the best Christmas gift ever...sleep!

-We still swaddle you for naps and at night. You love to be swaddled!
-You still like to nap in your car seat and you slept soooo well on vacation in your pack n play!

-You love to smile when when people talk to you and sometimes you get bashful and grin.
-You are drooling and chewing on your hands like crazy! You blow bubbles a bunch too!
-You are such a happy baby!

-You love talking to us! You are talking to me in the pic above.
-We started putting you in your bumbo seat and you love sitting up in it!
-You really enjoy playing on your play mat. You usually just stare and swat at the toys but you are so happy when you do it and just kick like crazy.

-You are a very easy going baby...you don't really cry that much.
-You have started to grab and hold on to things like necklaces and my hair!
-You turn your head trying to find us in the room when you hear voices.

-Your eyes are still really brown and your hair is brown too...you have some bald spots on the back where you sleep.

-You LOVE to stand! You are so stiff sometimes and just love to stand, smile and look around.
-Your little personality is showing more and more each day.
-We celebrated your first Christmas this past month and your first New Years!

We adore you and we love you so very much! You have changed our lives forever...in the best way possible!

On January 4th we went to a WSU basketball game with Greyson. We didn't last very long b/c he was pretty tired but he stilled seem to enj0y it!
