Uncle Eric's Big Move!

My brother, Eric, moved to Switzerland.  Wait, what?  Yes, Geneva, Switzerland!  Koch has yet again moved one of my favorite people across the pond.  It was such a bittersweet move...AMAZING opportunity but so sad he is so far!!

He only had about a month from when he found out to when he was leaving so my parents drove to Houston and helped him shop and pack things up the week before he moved.  Well, sneaky Kara and I booked tickets Wednesday and left really early Friday morning.  It was me and G and Kara met us in Atlanta (I had 2 free flights and Ryan wanted Kara to go over him - so sweet)...it was hard without Ryan and we missed him but my fam was a huge help!

My dad picked us up from the airport around noon and we went to Eric's apartment b/c he was there with the movers and he saw us out his window and came running down...he was so shocked that we came and I was shocked my parents didn't spoil the surprise.  Seeing his face made the trip soooo worth it!  Koch had Eric staying at the Westin in the Galleria since his apartment was packed up so my dad booked rooms there and it was great b/c we just shopped and ate!

Hilarious.  Not used to the flash on my phone.

My Uncle Don (mom's brother) and Aunt Suzanne and cousin Jamie met us for dinner on Saturday night!  It was so fun seeing them!!!

G loved the mariachi band!
Then Sunday Eric finished packing and my parents took him to the airport...makes me teary just thinking about it!  He was crazy excited though so I am so happy for him.  He has sent pictures of his apartment and Geneva everyday so that has been good and he bought an iPad before he left so we FaceTime almost weekly!!

Kara and I didn't leave until Monday so we did some more shopping and eating!

He loved the balloon from Nordstrom!
Aunt Kara letting him play in her water!
G did awesome on the flights!!!
Crazy whirlwind weekend but I'm so happy we were able to visit before he left!

Happy Halloween!

Greyson's favorite trick is to moo so we thought it would be fun to dress him up as a cow for Halloween.

I think he loved it.  He would point at himself and moo.  He even wanted to sleep with the costume!

The infamous Broadview Street in College Hill!

He was the cutest baby cow on the block!!

On Sunday, October 23rd Abbey, Sally's sisters - Kim & Lizzy and I hosted a baby shower for Sally & Annabelle!  It was so much fun to plan and shop for a little girl!!!

Precious Avery (Sal's niece; Liz's babe)!

KU vs. KSU!!!

Stars aligned this weekend and my K-State girls and I were able to attend the KU vs. KSU football game together!  It wasn't as crazy as past KU/K-State games but it was so great just being together.

The kiddos met Bill Self! (I think Ryan was pretty jealous he wasn't there for this milestone)
The girls!
Baby Jay & the Wasingers!!
Sassy Sal and precious Annabelle cooking away in the belly. I love this pic!
Where are our beverages???
Thanks for the fun pic, Abbey. And for the record, G had a K-State shirt on under the sweatshirt and every time I took off the sweatshirt I would turn around and it would be back on...I will win one of these days :)!
