April Highlights:

• Wow!  The little man is 18 months!  I will do a seperate post for this big milestone!!  I will also do a seperate post for our trip to Europe (the reason for all of the blank spots on this calendar).
• Other April highlights...KU making it to the National Championship, celebrating Nana, Amma and Uncle Brett's birthdays and the birth of our new favorite little boy, Knox!

Greyson is 18 months!

Happy 18 months, Greyson! I can't believe how fast time is flying! You are growing like a weed and learning so much everyday!  Here is what you have been up to as well as your 18 month pics taken by the incredibly talented, Ali Moore!!

Here are your 18 month stats:

Height - 35in (98%)

Weight - 26.9lbs (59%)

Head - 20in (98%)

You are wearing 18-24 month clothes and size 5 diapers. Your shoe size is about a 6.  

You still eat like a champ but have grown to be a little bit more picky!  One day you will love something and then the next you don't.  Just keeping us on our toes!  Your favorites are any kind of fruit (esp. blueberries) and Greek yogurt. 

You love to play outside and read books!  Your favorite words are mama, dada, Gus, ball, dog, book, uh oh, hot, hi, bye, car and milk.  You love to make animal sounds which makes for very entertaining zoo trips.  

Your favorite tricks include: identifying animals in your books, dancing, running, repeating, pointing to your different body parts and climbing.

You absolutely LOVE being outside. Your fav toys include your lawn mower and golf clubs!

You are a wonderful sleeper!!  You go to bed at about 7:30 and wake up around 7ish.  You take one 2-3 hour nap a day.

You love pointing out airplanes!

You have the BEST personality.  You are so laid back but definitely very ornery.  You are super happy and go with the flow!  You have all of your grandparents and aunt and uncles wrapped around your little finger...and mommy and daddy too!

We love you more than we ever imagined!!!

March Highlights:

• March was filled with watching basketball, plumbing issues, playing outside and planning for my big Gala at the end of the month.
• Quite a few of these pictures capture what Greyson has been learning lately - reading, coloring, eating by himself, climbing and just becoming a little boy.  
• G discovered his love of popcorn while at his cousin Garrett's basketball game and asked why we have been holding out on him.  
• He attended a WSU baseball game with his Grandpa Bob and ran in the St. Paddy's 5K with mommy and daddy!
• And with the nice weather came some fun trips to the zoo!  What a difference a couple of months make...it is so fun to watch his reactions to all of the animals.

February Highlights:

• Greyson is definitely turning into a toddler which is so incredibly bittersweet. He loves his voice and hearing himself talk.  He is also listening and understanding so much...like going to the bathroom for bath time and his bedroom for bed time.  He still loves books, balls, being outside and playing peek a boo!
• The first weekend of February we went to KC and played with friends!! It was so fun seeing how much Annabelle has grown and also to see Greyson and Isabelle interact with her.  And we always love seeing Auntie Kara!
• On Feb. 11 Greyson attended his first ever KU basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse.  Ryan was beaming from ear to ear the entire time.  A big milestone for G but even bigger for Ryan and his daddy bucket list.
• The next day we celebrated my dad's birthday with a visit to the Circus. We didn't last the entire time but had a ton of fun!
• Greyson enjoyed playing in the snow for the first time this month.

January

2012 blogging is going to look a little different b/c I fell so far behind but I did manage to capture a picture everyday or almost everyday sharing our daily adventures.  Here are some highlights from January!

• Greyson turned 15 months on 1/6/12.  
• 15 month check up stats: Height 33in (91%), Weight 25.4lbs (57%) & Head 19 1/4in (88%)
• G loves balls, books, running and baths. His latest tricks are telling you how old he is, blinking, pointing at his tummy, trying to feed himself and of course making animal sounds.
• At 15 months he has had 5 haircuts.

I'm sure I'll say this every month but this is such a fun age!  He is constantly learning something new and making us laugh!

Rocky Mountains

2011 was a year of many firsts and so we thought we would end the year and start the new year right with a trip to the mountains! Unfortunately, Papa couldn't join us but he sent along Nana, Uncle Brett and Uncle Colin to help us entertain G.
